Keelung carries generations of love stories, beautiful and melancholic, scattered across five physical venues: consignment shops, tea houses, the Fishing Harbor, cafés, and bars. Five places, five shapes of love. The hard part was fitting that emotional weight onto a single screen without flattening it. We built the exhibition website that connects those stories into one clear, navigable experience, turning tangled concepts and relationships into something a visitor can move through in seconds.
Design Decisions
Made the homepage a set of doorways. Most landing pages explain before they invite. We turned each venue into its own entry, a thumbnail plus an emotional tag (#LoveInObjects, #FaithAndLonging), so visitors choose the path that resonates and step straight in.
Turned social proof into foot traffic. Online exhibitions inform but rarely get anyone to show up. We paired a first-person view of each venue with a curated feed of what's worth seeing and eating, pulled from real social shares, so online discovery becomes an actual visit.
