Live commerce thrives on impulse. The moment a viewer hesitates — a page load, a redirect, an unfamiliar payment screen — the purchase dies. iSunTV Mall set out to merge live shopping with blockchain payments, letting viewers order in real time and check out with crypto or credit card. We designed the full MVP from scratch, scoped to validate one core question: can this model hold up under real user behavior?

Challenge

MVP scope forced hard choices. The goal wasn't completeness — it was proving the core assumption. Every feature had to earn its place.


Crypto was unfamiliar territory for everyday shoppers. The design had to make digital currency feel as natural as tapping a credit card — no learning curve, no hesitation.


Design Decisions

  1. Keep viewers in the stream

    Leaving the live feed to browse or check out kills the impulse. We put product discovery, cart, and checkout beneath the video — so purchase intent stayed alive through the entire flow. No redirects. No drop-off triggers.

  2. Put crypto on equal footing

    Cryptocurrency and credit card appeared side by side, neither framed as secondary. New users chose what they knew. Repeat users discovered what was possible. No tutorial required.

  3. Spec once, ship to both platforms

    We built shared design specs for iOS and Android, with clearly annotated platform-specific variants. One source of truth reduced handoff friction, aligned developer expectations, and accelerated testing across both environments.
