Supply chain decision-makers, startup founders, and engineers converge on Asia's largest semiconductor show — 200+ exhibitors, dozens of forums, and dense business matchmaking, all compressed into a few days. The information volume is enormous, the time pressure is relentless, and finding the right thing on the floor is anyone's guess. We designed the official app from zero, so every attendee walks in with a clear plan instead of a map of the unknown.

Challenge
Across wildly different scenarios, how does the right information get found fast and used in the moment?
Pre-show needs planning; on-site needs instant lookup. One app, two opposite rhythms.
Exhibitors, products, sessions, and matchmaking are four separate systems. Bury them too deep and the app becomes a catalog, not a guide.

Design Strategy
We built the structure around the attendee journey, not the data. By mapping what users need before, during, and after the show, every information node got its depth and placement from one thing: how urgent it felt at that exact moment.
Design Decisions
Built a tree hierarchy so users never got lost Exhibitors, sessions, and maps lived as separate systems with no shared structure. We organized everything into one tree hierarchy, so on any page users instantly knew where they were and where to go next. Orientation stopped depending on memory.
Cut search to seconds with four-dimension filtering Searching 200+ exhibitors by name was a needle-in-a-haystack problem. We added filtering by product, booth number, topic, and map location. Finding the right exhibitor went from guesswork to precision.
Paired pre-show scheduling with on-site alerts No one could track dozens of sessions across a packed multi-day agenda. One tap adds any exhibitor or forum to the calendar, and the app pushes a live reminder when it's time. Attendees offloaded the remembering and stayed present for the conversation that mattered.
Centralized every personal shortcut in one place Saved items, notes, and reminders were scattered across the app. We pulled them into a single hub that works for pre-show research, on-site capture, and post-show follow-up. The value outlasted the event itself.
Stripped the interface back so content leads
Rich information competes for attention, and heavy visual design only makes it worse. We built on the brand purple with deliberately minimal styling. Attention landed entirely on the content.
