Keelung is one of Taiwan's rainiest cities, yet rain was never the reason to visit. Through an art biennial, Zhengbin Art Studio turned water into a felt experience, surfacing its flow, its hidden stories, and the city's memory. The website had to hold both sci-fi imagination and exhibition information, so audiences outside the art world would still walk in curious. We designed that experience.
Design Decisions
Wrapped the city's memory inside a rescue quest
Heritage can feel academic to outsiders. We turned it into a mission, where each rescue unlocks a co-created artwork tied to Keelung's memory. Sci-fi pulled people in; the stories made them stay.
Built a borderless universe to hold the work
Exhibition sites usually bury art under menus and text. We floated each piece in a 3D, edgeless cosmos that moves like water. The minimalism let the work speak, and made online visitors feel they had to see it in person.
